Some of my happiest childhood memories are of me and my dad going birdwatching together at martin mere. Goldfinches were (and still are) one of our favourite birds...so I drew one for his father's day card this year.

Godspeed Golden Frog
I was inspired by the quite remarkable David Attenbourogh's Life in Cold Blood series to create this cross stich. It's a farewell to the Golden Frog, a species that is now extinct in the wild due to poaching and a nasty fungal virus type thing.
Anyway, cross stitch, it's the new rock and roll I tell you.
